0 israelis killed by palestinian action this month

    2006
2008

On February 1st, four truck carrying an arms shipment for Fatah are confiscated. The shipment was sent in from Israel with US and Israeli knowledge. Presumably to intensify the conflict between Fatah and Hamas. The confiscation causes heavy clashes throughout Gaza during the first 8 days of the month. The truce is over. Israel concentrates its killings in the West Bank. At the end of the month the IOF mount a major invasion of Nablus, bulldozing houses, and using civilians as human shields. After a 5 day rampage they withdraw, and the UN reports that 248 Palestinian homes and shops have been damaged. Over most of the West Bank fascist Israeli settlers vandalize Palestinian property and uproot olive trees. Israel starts excavation on the Haram al-Sharif/Temple Mount, causing protests among Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. UNESCO calls on Israel to “suspend any action [at the site] that could endanger the spirit of mutual respect.” Israeli, Palestinian, and international activists initiate weekly demonstrations in Bil'in against the construction of Israels apartheid wall. They're met with teargas and rubber bullits from the IOF.
